Noted For: major-league catcher; Los Angeles Dodgers (1992-98), New York Mets (1998-2005), and three other teams (1998, 2006-07). National League Rookie of the Year (1993), 12-time All-Star, won the Silver Slugger Award ten consecutive seasons (1993-2002). Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame (2016).
