Noted For: NFL football player (quarterback); Houston Oilers (1971-79) and three other teams (1980-83). Named to the 1975 AFC Pro Bowl team. Was involved in a boat racing accident where two spectators were killed (1977); was cleared of criminal responsibility, but settled a civil damages claim out of court for $1.5 million. Posed nude in Playgirl (1980) to pay the settlement.
